Description
High-Performance airMAX Bridge
The Ubiquiti PowerBeam is the latest generation of Ubiquiti Networks airMAX CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) for customer locations. It combines a dish reflector design, high-speed processor and advanced technologies for incredibly high, reliable network performance.
Utilizing Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed technology, it integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, to help improve network performance. And thanks to its incredible antenna “Beam” performance, it’s great for any areas crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency. With Ubiquiti’s airMAX technology, it provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class. The intuitive, feature-rich airOS v8 operating system, along with advanced software (such as airtime, airControl), lets you easily configure, monitor and administer your network.
Plus, the Ubiquiti PowerBeam features an innovative mechanical design and is easy to mount.
Integrated Radio Design
Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for cables to connect the radio to the antenna. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses.
Plug and Play Installation
The PowerBeam requires no tools for assembly; only a single wrench is required for pole-mounting.
Incredible Antenna “Beam” Performance
The form factor of the PowerBeam features the highest gain for its size. The PowerBeam’s excellent beam directivity provides the best performance in high-noise environments.
Advanced Software Technology
Ubiquiti’s airMAX technology is proven in millions of deployments worldwide, exhibiting outstanding performance in outdoor environments. The TDMA airMAX protocol enables unprecedented scalability, high throughput and low latency in unlicensed, multipoint networks.
Feature-rich airOS
airOS is an intuitive, versatile, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training to operate. Behind the user interface is a powerful firmware architecture, which enables high-performance, outdoor multi-point networking.
- Protocol Support
- Ubiquiti Channelization
- Spectral Width Adjustment
- ACK Auto-Timing
- AAP Technology
- Multi-Language Support
airView
Integrated on all Ubiquiti M products, airView provides advanced spectrum analyzer functionality: waterfall, waveform, and real-time spectral views allow operators to identify noise signatures and plan their networks to minimize noise interference.
- Waterfall – Aggregate energy over time for each frequency.
- Waveform – Aggregate energy collected
- Real-time – Energy is shown in real time as a function of frequency.
- Recording – Automate airView to record and report results.
airControl
airControl is a powerful and intuitive, web-based server network management application, which allows operators to centrally manage entire networks of Ubiquiti devices.
- Network Map
- Monitor Device Status
- Mass Firmware Upgrade
- Web UI Access
- Manage Groups of Devices
- Task Scheduling
Innovative Mechanical Design
Built-in mechanical tilt
The mounting bracket conveniently offers 20° of uptilt and up to 20° of downtilt.
Quick assembly
The number of fasteners was reduced to simplify assembly. Tools are required only when the technician mounts the PowerBeam on the pole.
Easy removal
The antenna feed can be detached with the push of a button.
Protective Radome
The PBE-RAD-400 (sold separately) is a protective radome that shields the radio from the elements; it is available as an optional accessory for the PowerBeam PBE-M2-400 and PBE-M5-400.
